Meet the Creator: Executive Chef Giuseppe Urbano

“I created this platform to make healthy eating simple, enjoyable, and sustainable—one delicious meal at a time.”

After more than 38 years in the professional culinary world, I realized food could be more than flavor—it could be a powerful tool to support long-term health.

I have spent over 15,000 hours refining this system, combining culinary tradition with modern nutrition science into one structured international program designed for real-world use across different cultures and lifestyles.
This is my way of sharing that knowledge with you.

Executive Chef Giuseppe Urbano

After a long career in professional kitchens, I felt a calling to impact lives at a different level. My mission now is to use the art of serving food to help you build a healthy future. To serve you well, I have used the spiritual gift of knowledge and the skill of organizing to develop this dietary program—offering you a reliable path to wellness through what I have been given to share.

Traditional medical education often provides minimal training in nutrition, with less than a third of medical schools meeting the minimum required 25 hours. This creates a significant gap between knowing what is healthy and knowing how to cook it. I have dedicated over 15,000 hours to bridging this gap.

While the 10,000-hour rule suggests that deliberate practice is needed to achieve mastery, I have surpassed that milestone to ensure this program is both effective and reliable. I have deconstructed complex clinical science into a simple, gourmet system where I did the research so you can simply enjoy the results.

I am guided by my faith and a love for the people I serve. I believe that nourishing the body and soul is a way to celebrate the life we are given. As scripture reminds us:

"Your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit... Honor God with your bodies." (1 Cor 6:19-20)

"Whatever you eat or drink, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Cor 10:31)

I want to inspire you to realize that eating well is not a chore—it is a masterpiece. My program makes healthy choices effortless and delicious, turning wellness into a natural habit that stays with you and your family forever. By removing the stress associated with nutrition, I help you transform your kitchen into a center for health.

How to begin →

My goal is to show you that eating well is the most important foundation for a life full of joy and vitality. By integrating professional culinary techniques with health principles, I want to help you and your loved ones build a lasting legacy of health that will benefit generations to come.

The best thing about the Mediterranean diet? It doesn’t taste like a diet.

Honoring the Pioneers of Mediterranean Nutrition Science

The Meals For Longevity Program is not just a collection of recipes; it is a continuation of a scientific legacy. We honor the three pillars of Mediterranean health whose work forms the DNA of every meal we organize:

  • Ancel Keys (1904–2004): The pioneer who first revealed the heart-healthy secrets of the Mediterranean lifestyle to the world.

  • Anna Ferro Luzzi (1934–2019): The architect of precision. Her rigorous work at the Sapienza Università di Roma gave the diet its quantitative structure—defining the exact frequencies and quantities needed for health.

  • Carlo Cannella (1943–2011): The modern visionary. As a promoter of the UNESCO recognition, he transformed the diet into a sustainable, 21st-century system. His concept of "Quanto Basta" (QB)—the perfect balance—is the heartbeat of our "Effortless" philosophy.

"I have spent 15,000 hours reopening their studies to ensure that the MFL Program isn't just a diet, but a living bridge to their life-saving wisdom." > — Executive Chef Giuseppe Urbano
