A Bridge Between Italian Tradition and Modern Longevity Science

"Healthy eating starts with intention and a proven program."

A Lifetime of Culinary Mastery & Scientific Inquiry

Born in Milano, Italy in 1972, Chef Giuseppe Urbano was raised at the very source of Mediterranean culture. However, his life’s work has evolved into more than just cooking—it has become a dedicated mission to apply the "Longevity Formula” to everyday eating.

My professional journey was forged at the prestigious Italian Culinary Institute “Carlo Porta” in Milan. As a young student, I underwent rigorous training to launch my professional career under the direct mentorship of Master Executive Chef Maurizio Bosotti.

Chef Bosotti is a legendary figure in Italian gastronomy, renowned for training a generation of top Italian chefs who lead world-class kitchens across the globe today. This elite formation at "Carlo Porta" provided the authentic technical mastery and professional discipline that serves as the bedrock for everything I do at Meals For Longevity.

The 15,000-Hour Research Legacy

Chef Giuseppe has dedicated over 15,000 hours to deconstructing the foundational scientific works of the Mediterranean Diet. Surpassing the globally recognized 10,000-hour threshold for mastery, his program is a modern synthesis of the three essential pillars of nutritional science:

  • The Pioneer | Ancel Keys: The first to identify the Mediterranean path to heart health in the 1950s. Through his landmark Seven Countries Study, Keys proved that lifestyle and dietary patterns, rather than just genetics, are the primary drivers of cardiovascular health and longevity.

  • The Architect | Anna Ferro Luzzi: The scientist who defined the rigorous quantitative structure of modern Mediterranean frequencies. Her work was instrumental in translating traditional cultural habits into a mathematical and clinical framework, providing the precise nutritional blueprints used by health authorities worldwide..

  • The Visionary | Carlo Cannella: The father of the Modern Mediterranean Pyramid (2009) and the driving force behind its UNESCO recognition. Chef Giuseppe has integrated Cannella’s revolutionary "Quanto Basta" (QB) concept—transforming rigid scientific measurements into a flexible, applicable, and sustainable system designed for the 21st-century lifestyle.
