Giuseppe Urbano was born in 1972 in Milano, Italy, to a middle-class family, where he grew up and completed his formal education. Chef Giuseppe earned an honorary bachelor's from the Culinary Institute "Carlo Porta" in Milan, Italy, in 1989. Executive Chef Maurizio Bosotti taught him the fundamentals of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine as he grew up.

In his twenties, he was sent on an international food assignment to learn other languages and cultural contexts. In addition to Italian, he speaks English, French, Spanish, and Polish.

He qualified as a dietitian manager in Florida, USA, during his thirties, and he started in nursing homes, hospitals, and educational institutions. In his forties, he ran the popular Sarasota, Florida, restaurant "Oh Mamma Mia."

He currently lives in Sarasota, Florida, with his wife and two children, and he cooks and teaches people how to cook the Mediterranean Diet of the Italian centenarian.

Chef Giuseppe is an important link between the Mediterranean Diet cuisine of the 1950s and today, thanks to his studies, applications, commitment to the food industry, and skills he has acquired over the past 30 years.
